My name is Tomas Vera. I am running to be a Assembly District Election Meeting (ADEM) delegate to the Democratic State Central Committee (DSCC). ADEM delegates are one of the three classes of delegates that make up the California Democratic Party (CADEM).

The 2025 Election

This election will be (primarily) an electronic election in which voters (participants) will need to register with CADEM to receive a ballot for this election.

Previous terms as a delegate

I have served in all the classes of DSCC delegates. Most recently, I was a PLEO delegate, appointed by the candidate who ran in Assembly District 5 (my current assembly district).

Upcoming term

In 2025, I am running for a two-year term as an ADEM delegate to the Democratic State Central Committee (DSCC). In this role, I will represent the Democratic voters of Assembly District 5. I will advocate for California Democratic Party (CADEM) support of candidates in Placer County and our Red Rural districts and for consideration of our unique point of view.
